Quilt market sewing

Many of my quilting friends are busy getting ready for Quilt Market in Salt Lake City which starts in two weeks.  I was honored when the beautiful Bonnie of Going Home to Roost asked if I would be interested in making a mini quilt for her booth showcasing Hello Ollie, her latest fabric line for Art Gallery Fabrics.

Below are the prints I chose, aren’t they so sweet?

Hello Ollie Fabric

I have been envisioning a Heading South mini quilt for a while and thought this would be the perfect chance to test it. Check out those tiny flying geese!

Here it is all put together.

This weekend’s goal is to get it quilted 🙂  Wish me luck!

  1. All the market sewing posts are so cool, but they look sort of high pressure. I guess the fun is in getting the fabric first and having your work featured at market.
