Spiral Bound {a finished quilt and upcoming pattern!}

Happy Sunday all!  I am super excited to share my latest quilt finish with you today.  Introducing Spiral Bound.

Spiral Bound quilt

When my dear friend, Heather Givans (of Crimson Tate), asked if I would like to make something with her upcoming fabric line, of course I jumped at the chance.  The line is called Paper Obsessed and you can find all of the details on Windham Fabrics’ website here.  Heather knocked it out of the park again with this fabric line and the paper themed prints.  The paper airplanes are just too cute! Heather had a few quilters lined up to work their magic on our quilt tops and I was giddy when she sent mine to Karlee Porter.  This girl has some serious quilting voodoo.  Her graffiti quilting style is so fun and impressive to a novice free motion quilter like myself.

Isn’t it amazing?!?!  You can check out more work by Karlee on her website here.

I hope to have the pattern for this quilt finished soon and offer 4 sizes (baby, throw, queen and king).  The quilt photographed is a throw size at 60″ square.

I’ll be posting another recent finish later this week.
Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Beautiful quilt and quilting. It makes me think of a Victorian home getting ready for Christmas decorations (non traditional colors). 🙂 Another great design!
