How is it already July?!? This summer is passing by way to quickly for me, especially after what seemed like the longest winter ever!
Today I’m checking in with my 10 in 10 quilt guild challenge. If you recall, last month the number 2 was chosen and that was my Jacob’s Ladder quilt. I did absolutely nothing with that quilt…unless you count taking it out of the storage bin, spreading it out and staring at it as progress 🙂 I think I have finally decided that given my current work schedule and other sewing commitments, the Jacob’s Ladder quilt will have to be sent out for quilting. So, as soon as I have banked enough cash I will do just that. 🙂
The number that was pulled for July is 3, which happens to be a fall tablerunner for me. And luckily I hit the jackpot with this one. All I need to do is put on the binding and it is finished!
That can be done on a Saturday easily. I’ve also pulled some fabric for an upcoming wedding quilt.
Aren’t they pretty?!? It is taking all of my strength not to cut into them until I have a couple of other projects done first.
Wish me luck!
