W.I.P. Wednesday {1.30.13}

Here it is Wednesday again!  I’ve been able to make some progress in the last week on a few projects.  I finished my Scrappy Many Trips Around the World quilt top.

I have the backing and binding fabric selected, so now I just need to figure out how I want to quilt it.  If you have any great ideas, I’d love to here them!!  I’m kind of stumped on this one.

I also finished my January block for the Lucky Stars BOM by Elizabeth of Don’t Call Me Betsy. 

I’m loving the colors in this block and am hoping to stick with this color scheme throughout the year.  That might mean that I need to hunt for some more navy fabric   If you haven’t signed up for this BOM, I would highly recommend it.  Elizabeth gives great paper piecing instructions, so even if you’ve never done it before, you can follow right along.  I can’t wait to receive February’s block via email tomorrow!
