Hi all! Today I want to share my latest “finishes” with you. I was lucky enough to be able to receive some of Jenean Morrison’s newest fabric line “In My Room” to create some items for her to show during the Schoolhouse series at quilt market later this month. First let me say that Jenean is one of my absolute favorite fabric designers. If you aren’t familiar with her lines from Free Spirit, you MUST check out her website www.jeneanmorrison.net. All of her lines are cheery and beautiful. Until now my favorite has been Silent Cinema (I really need to get some more of that!), but I’m thinking In My Room is right up there…the blues and greens are of course my favorite. And the fact that it is filled with Daisy like flowers, it’s almost like she made this line just for me
Here is a shot of the blue and green colorway (sorry for the dark photo). Aren’t they wonderful?
I loved the contrast of the darker green print and decided to use it as a focal for one of the pillows.
This one was really hard to ship out yesterday because I love it so much. Check out the daisies on the back!
And here is a photo of the pink and orange color way. There are several of the prints that actually go perfectly with each color way, but this is how I split them up for my projects. Aren’t those sketchy circles the best?!
For this pillow I used Cluck Cluck Sew’s Sprocket Pillow tutorial. It was easier than it looks, mostly because of Allison’s fabulous directions.
The “Lazy Afternoon” print was just perfect for the back.
What is your favorite print in this new line? If you are anything like me, you will be happy to see it arrive in November.
A big THANKS to Jenean for letting me work with her new fabric. It was a personal joy.
I’m linking up with TGIFF hosted this week by Jenelle of Echinops and Aster.
Thanks for stopping by, now I’m heading off to the beach for vacation…be back soon.

Both pillows are very cute but I love the round one! Have a wonderful time at the beach!
Loving the picnic parade line, but the colors on all of them are so bright and lovely. Miss you!
This is a lovely line, it fits right into my favorites — modern-with-a-vintage-feel. Saw you at TGIFF!
Beautiful fabric lines and great looking pillows. I love the fabrics you chose for the backs of both of them.
Love these! Especially love the pink/orange colorways! Beautiful pillows!!
Xoxo Bobbi
Those fabrics are gorgeous! And I really like the pillows you made – they both look fantastic!
Great fabrics – thanks for sharing your pillow creations! I agree the lazy afternoon was a perfect pic. I really like the colors in this line.
